7 flashes - Problem with motherboard (RAM, LAN, or Hard Drive controller).

Unfortunately the only thing that we can do about this is replace the unit.  The only way to recover the data without voiding your warranty is by going through 3rd party data recovery.  We recommend drivesavers (www.drivesavers.com) as they have been working with RAID drives for over 20 years.

Hi PCPiranha.

Thanks for your help.

I has some another question.

Can I take HDD to my Computer. I know warranty is void, I'm accept that.

I took HDD to CPU but I think HDD it's XPS File system can not read from WindowsXP.

How can I do this?

I'm think if LinkStation Mainboard is corrupt, Not HDD Can I get my data back on PC.

But If HDD is currupt, OK I'm lose my data but i'm can replace my HDD.

Thank you very much Sir.

You can try using UFSExplorer to get the data.  The best option would be to just connect the drive to a linux computer and mount it in XFS
