Title: LS421 Drive replacement - good drives
Post by: selkov on April 14, 2020, 05:38:54 PM
All the articles I find regarding drive replacement assume the drives are bad.
I have replaced the drives with higher capacity drives.
How do I repurposed the old drives?
Windows does not recolonize them?

You have to wipe the old hard drives using a tool like AOMEI partition assistant, windows diskpart, or a tool from the HDD manufacturer, something like western digital windlg.

All the partitions have to be wiped before the drive can be reformatted in Windows.
