Title: Subfolder permission problems on shared folder
Post by: fabster5 on November 11, 2008, 08:40:07 AM

Hi guys,

I set up my LinkStation in my Mac environment. So far no problems, Time Machine works and everybody can access the shared folders. But if a user creates a subfolder on a shared folder, it is only accesible by this specific user and no changes can be made on the "get info/permissions".. Seems to be Mac problem, would be nice if anyone has experience with permissions hirarcy on NAS using Mac..

Thanks
