Hello,

Has anyone tried using NasNavi with Windows 7? I would like to do it with my LinkStation to allow for the 'AutoOn' feature to work. I realize Windows 7 is relatively new and that support for that OS and NasNavi may not be available yet but any insights would be great.

I have tested nas navigator and it found all of our buffalo devices on our network with Windows 7 rc7100. Seems to work. More testing is in the works of course.

The install CD failed to install the file security bit stuff, but the NasNavi installed ok. The only problem I have is that Windows 7 will not remember the login password after a re-boot when I try to access the drive, even via the mappped dive link, like XP does with no problems. I still haven't found a way around this yet.

Solved the above problem finally.

Go to Control Panel>Credential Manager" and set use and password there. You must enter the Username as 'yourNASname\username'. NAS is now mapped after every re-boot.

NasNavigator version 2.22 is officially supporting Windows 7.

I do have a problem that NasNavigator is working when connected using LAN but does not work when connected through Wireless LAN. I don't believe this is a NasNavigator issue, but a Windows 7 set up issue.
