Title: TeraStation TS51210RH12012
Post by: FmuthEagles on March 10, 2020, 07:51:08 AM
Greeting,

What is the best way to restart the above Nas when communication is lost to the device ??

I didn't know any better so I use the power button to power cycle the device not knowing it would take 3 weeks to sync the raid.

Just checking for the next time it happens

Thank you

Bruce

I've not used that specific model before, or have seen that specific issue.  For starters, I would definitely update the firmware and try a different network cable.

Then, I would consider what is in this post:

Something is making your network connection drop.  It could be a faulty NIC in the unit too.
