Title: HS-DH500GL firmware upgrade - HS-DHGL that needs updating wasn't found.
Post by: skyqwr on February 17, 2020, 05:27:02 PM
Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my HS-DH500GL from its current firmware 1.15 to 2.21 (below) but it keeps telling me that "HS-DHGL that needs updating wasn't found." I've already tried the debug mode and it did't help. I was wondering if this is the correct firmware for my unit.

I'd appreciate any help.

Does the device show up in NasNavigator?

Usually not being found either means it's the wrong updater for that model or communication is being blocked. NasNavigator uses the same communication method which can help test that part.
