Title: Using FTP on TS-HGTL/R5
Post by: recn on February 17, 2020, 10:52:58 AM
I am trying to set up my TeraStation as an FTP server. I figured out how to activate it and I created a shared folder "test" with the "FTP" box checked. I gave the admin group read/write permissions.

I logged into FileZilla as the admin using unsecured FTP and much to my surprise I only saw an "array1" folder. I didn't see the shared folder I created via the TeraStation website! I was able to create folders via FileZilla, but afterwards I would be unable to access them due to the permissions.

How do I properly create folders in the TeraStation website so I can see them via FileZilla?

the folders you create are on the raid array so to speak, so it's accessed via array1/yourfoldername.
