Title: software included in LinkStation 210 is so bad. Please give us options!!!
Post by: justinthrow on December 05, 2019, 09:36:54 AM
I purchased a Buffalo LinkStation™ 210 3 TB NAS Personal Cloud Storage and Media Server (LS210D0301) a few years ago and decided to take it out of my closet to give it another whirl just to be reminded of how restricting the software is and how unusable it is to function as a NAS.

PLEASE give us the option to remove the proprietary software - or at least provide functional software!

If you'd prefer you can install Debian Linux on the LS210 instead of the stock firmware. From there you can install any applications/features that you like.
