Title: Replace HDD on LS-CHL v2. 0
Post by: ianwrobbie on December 01, 2019, 02:09:30 PM
I'm looking to replace the HDD on an older Linkstation LS-CHL v2.0. I've had a look online but can't find  a concrete tutorial or instructions to do it.

My drive is already in EM mode (by using the Function button). Is it as easy as formatting the drive in Linux and installing the firmware using LSupdater in debug mode?

If I do need TFTP, does anyone have the appropriate software? All the links I've seen online are dead.

If it's already in EM mode it's as easy as using lsupdater in debug mode to run the firmware install.
