Title: Problem Updating Firmware on LinkStation
Post by: noteuk on October 22, 2009, 04:06:51 AM

I have a LinkStation Live 500GB that was not switched off correctly and will now not start properly.  I have tried updating the firmware to v1.06 put get an ACP_STATE_FAILURE error message when it is trying to format the drive.  I have tried booting using tftp and the linkstation does not request the initrd.buffalo and uImage.buffalo files to be downloaded (I have uninstalled my antivirus software and disabled the firewall).  I have used the NAS Navigator and this can see the linkstation.  I am not sure what I can do next, any advise would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance
