I would recommen a firmware flash, and also if and when you can get into the device set a static ip address on it.  Also turn off firewalls and antivirus programs.

how do i do this flash?i now have firmware 1.06

also you would recommend PERMANENTLY to disable the firewall and antivirus? i am not really keen on doing that. (i tried now to disable norton security but not difference)

the only way how i can "connect " to the disc to unplug it of mains and then plug it back in. then it all comes to sences. for a while that is.

the device really doesnt seem that great now.

btw i have it on perm IP and the IP is reserved by router too
