Title: LS-CHL Media Server Playlists?
Post by: soxfan1966 on October 14, 2009, 08:10:41 PM

I have a Linkstation LS-CHL which I use to store my media files (music, movies ,etc).  I have Itunes running on several computers all using a shared library which works great.

I also own two Roku Soundbridge units and the LS-CHL's built in media server (Itunes) streams to those units.  The library that is used for streaming is the internal one for the LS-CHL and not the same one that is shared on the networked computers.

From the Roku, I can browse a few things in Itunes - genre's, artists, songs.  There is an entry for Playlists but it is empty.

Does anyone know how to create and/or store playlists for the Media Server on the LS-CHL to use so I can see them from my Roku units?

Which firmware version were you running?

I am running version 1.07

Also, I was able to find a solutuon for the playlist issue.  I posted the info under this Thread:

Re: Linkstation LS-CHL and Roku Soundbridge

as this one was locked the other day.  I can move the info here if you want me to.

I am still having the second issue - where the Linkstation appears twice on the Roku units though...
