Title: Hep me for using Buffalo TeraStation Pro (TS-TGL) with 1.5 TB x 4 separately (not use RAID)
Post by: megymax on October 12, 2009, 04:03:57 AM

hi everyone,

I have Buffalo TeraStation Pro (TS-TGL) with 1.5 TB x 4.

After update firmware and format 4 HDDs. Buffalo did format them under RAID spanning. Then I came to configuration and delete RAID spanning to use 4 HDDs separately.

But after that, each of 4HDDs became 500 GBs (where has another 1tb gone?)

So, please help me for how to config to use 4 HDD 1.5 tb separately (6tb total) in Buffalo TeraStation Pro (TS-TGL).

The ts pro cannot handle any disks over 500gb from the factory.  That's going to be your problem, put original disks back in and should work fine.
