Title: Additional Storage for a Linkstation LS - XHL?
Post by: audiodept on October 08, 2009, 12:07:33 PM

Hi all,

Quick question.  I have a Linkstation LS - XHL system (1 TB) with a 1 TB external drive hooked up and serving as a backup.  Everything is working fine.

My question is this:  Would it be possible to hook up a powered USB hub to the Linkstation, allowing me to run more than one drive at once, shown on the interface as additional shares?  I don't see why not, but figured I'd check before attempting, as there is already information on their that is somewhat sensitive.

Thanks in advance for your responses!

No we do not support hooking up a USB hub to the unit

Not supported meaning it won't work, or that you don't reccomd/offer assitance with it?  Just for clarification..

I doubt it will work, and we won't assist in trying (because it hasn't been tested to my knowledge)
