Title: Terastation Live Backup status not updating

I tried running a backup from my TS Live to a USB-connected hard drive. For a week it said the backup was pending (but has no option to givce any sort of detailed status). Even after a couple of power-cyclings and removal of the USB drive it still thinks, in the web interface, tha tthe backup is pending. Hooking the external drive to my computer reveals that nothing was backed up.

 

Is there any way to clear this message or to have it give me actual status info (like percent complete, estimated time to finish)? As far as I can tell this function is completely useless.

Can you not cancel the job?  If not then you might have to reinitilize th device under maintence.  It will leave the data intact, but default all your settings to factory.  Make sure you format the usb hard drive to xfs before backing up to it.  And i believe we have a 1.5tb cap on the drive.
