I have a 1TB USB drive station Model:HD-CX1.0TU2

I can't transfer without it freezing my computer or getting stuck on the transfer.  I've tried using Memeo with the latest version and just dragging and dropping files directley on to the drive. I've also tried different USB ports and transfeing from different internal hard drives.  It always gets stuck, sometimes I can get up to 1GB transfered.  It doesn't seem to matter if I'm using the computer or if it's idol.

Any suggestions?  Is it just a standard SATA drive inside the case?  If so I'm wondering if it would work if I take it out connect it internally to get the data on it.  I'm so frusterated with this thing, I also reformatted in NFTS.  I did find a similar problem while searching but didn't find a solution.  Tried calling Buffalo today (Sunday) and got tired of waiting after 15 minutes.

It is just a standard drive underneath. Do yo have a second computer you can try the drive with?

It really should be as simple as plug and play, click and drag.

I tried it with another computer and didn't have the problem, so I tried updating by bios and still having issues.  Same problem...  If I pull the harddrive and install it in my desktop I'm guessing I'll be able to re-use it in the deskstation as long as I don't remove the partition that came from the factory, correct?

Any other suggestions to get this thing working?
