Title: Drives full but no access
Post by: reaser on September 19, 2009, 11:40:35 AM

Type Terastation Pro

Model TS 1.0TGL/R5

Firmware v1.0

I recently took over for the IT staff member and we lost access to this station. The part time IT staff member reset the device. It still shows all drive are filled to capacity but I can not access the data. This was the problem even before doing a reset.

I've been browsing around but have yet found anything to gain access to this data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The data was backed up so I don't care if we lose this data, I just want to at least have access to the drives to format them and start over.

If you can get to the units GUI and as you stated dont care about data loss just delete the Raid and put another one on there.  It would be alot quicker then doing a complete reformat of 4-250 gig drives filled all the way up:smileywink:
