Title: Can't Access Files after Power Outage
Post by: MEIJEB on September 17, 2009, 09:44:35 AM

Linkstation DUO with firmware 1.09

Got into the office this morning and turned on the unit.  When trying to access it from a computer it tells me:

"\\buffalo is not accessable. You might not have permissions to use this netword resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if your have access permissions.

The server's clock did not synchronized with the primary domain controller's clock."

No permissions have been changed anywhere.

Everything including the server shut down last night.

i can access the linstation with the browser interface.  i can sometimes see the shares but never access them.

Additionally, I can enter \\buffalo on the RUN command from one of the networked computers and I can see the shares, but when I try and open one of the folders, i get a request for Username and Password, but when i enter any and all combinations of username and passward and it does not work.

I'm having this same problem. I can access the control panel and the "info" share, but non of my other shares are accessible from any computer in the network.

MEIJEB,Do you have shares mapped on this computer?  Try disconnecting them all and rebooting/remapping.  Are you using active directory?  Does the problem persist when access restrictions are removed?
