Title: I need to RMA one brand new unit (Linkstation)
Post by: cubanomx on September 13, 2009, 10:14:23 PM

Seems to have a bad hard drive inside the Linkstation Pro. RAID1 or RAID0, only problems... Lot of testings, lot of lost time...

Can please someone indicates how to proceed with RMA with a device purchased in USA AMAZON?

Regards and thanks in advance.

If you are within the return policy time-frame of your amazon purchase, you should be able to return it via Amazon.

If not, You can contact Buffalo Support to request an RMA @:

Did you purchase from Amazon, and authorised Buffalo reseller selling on Amazon, or an end-user.

Buffalo warranties only apply to the original purchaser. If an end-user is selling it, then all warranty is with the end-user.

We purchased directly in Amazon to AMAZON 60 days ago. The unit always had issues. We lost serious time on this device. Actually we are working with simple Network WD Hard drives.
