Hi All

Looked through forum to see if I could find others who were having the same problem but could not track anything down. 
This is my second linkstation in as many days.  The first one I purchased while it set up just fine was getting upwards of 8% packet loss..This one which I just unboxed is getting 9+% (Only small sample on this one...as I have only had it up for awhile...first Linkstation had multiple 5000 packets tests run)

 

When the requests time out, it tends to do it in groups...

I have tested everything else in the network and it is fine...not a cable issue...not a router issue

Has anyone else experienced this with a linkstation?  I really would love to keep this as it seems to be the best price point for this full featured of a product, but if my few users are going to have nothing but issues FTPing and connecting in...then I need to go anther route. 

I also just finished updating to the latest firmware...which is 110b...

Due to the lack of replies on this one I'm going to guess that you just had a bad luck of the draw on these couple of NASes.  Best bet would be to either exchange the device again or contact the regional tech support for an exchange.  Believe me when I say that some electronics retailers (no names being given) don't seem to follow the instructions of handle with care. Hope all works out and best of luck to you :)
