so. as subject says. my HD is turning on and off and sametime keeping this weird sound. did record it abit. i dont know where to upload it so i did put it in rapidshare http://rapidshare.com/files/275304507/beep.wav.html

also it goes on and off. computer finds it... then suddenly disconnects it and HD turns off. tried with other computer also and on it. it acually shows up the drive for 1-5secs in My Computer. i did get once quick view on it and it said 0Bytes and RAW . so is it dead? T_T tried to google abit and some beep codes would say disk have failed aka its dead and all data is lost?
ive had quite alot troubles with my HD-Ceu2 :P 1st one did mysteriously die after like 1month use. then i did change it and even that one did die mysteriously. same way as previous one. those had major ammount of bad sectors and disk failure.
was wondering if this one is dead too? good thing i still have 2year warranty on it.
oh if it helps. it was on earlier and didint keep anykind sound. then some time ago i tried to go in it and it suddenly started keeping that sound and couldnt find it anymore. led isnt flashing etc. best bet myself by sound would be that disk failed since even saw once that 0Bytes and RAW.
sorry my bad english but hopefully you can help me ;) i hope you can answer quickly so i know what to do. could go change it to new during weekend/next week i think.
basicly would wanna know if all data is lost and its totally dead? or is there way to get it work awhile so i could copy all data away. nothing super important there. ive kinda got abit paranoia with this harddrive and dont put anything important there since 2previous ones failed in quite short time and seems like even this one did ;/
