Title: RAID can't lock USB drives
Post by: andywright on September 03, 2009, 08:34:59 AM

I have just recieved my 2TB Driversation Duo and installed it on my Vista 64 Business computer on USB....

The drive are visible as 2 hitatchi 948 GB drives ...however...

1. The RAID setup keeps telling me it failed to lock USB drives and to reboot windows (which has no effect).  I also tried disabling the drived in the device manager as i saw in the FAQ's, this didn't work either.

2. Memeo bakup installed, but didn't ask for a serial number and now won't start on selecting the icon.

3. It is not clear.....I am intending to use RAID as a mirror to protect my data.  Worryingly, your manuals don't mention anything about how i would recover data on failure of a disk ?

thanks

Andy
