Title: TeraStation to TeraStation Backup
Post by: rudym on August 29, 2009, 02:31:06 AM

Hi all,

I am planing to purchase two TeraStation on to be kept at the office and the other I would like to place it at a remote location.

My question is if I use the the NAS to NAS backup feature when it updates does it copy every thing over or only the BIT that changed?

Thanks

RudyM

Assuming you're looking at new Terastation models..but generally speaking..

There are a few different modes, one of which is append (differential) which does what you're looking for in terms of only copying what is new.  Obviously you'll need to have all your routers etc. configured properly  to be able to copy over the internet but that's a router thing, not a Terastation thing.
