Title: Trashbox 0 Bytes
Post by: ktvnadmin on August 26, 2009, 03:35:26 PM

I have a Terastation Model TS-HTGL/R5 F/W 1.33.  The trashbox is enabled on it.  Someone accidentally deleted a folder and wanted to restore it.  It was in the trashbox so they moved it out of the trashbox back to its original location.  All files are 0 bytes and there appears to be multiple copies of the same file.  When looking at the trashbox, it appears that all files are 0 bytes.

This brings up two questions.

1) Should everything in the trashbox display as 0 bytes?

2) What is the correct procedure to restore files from the trashbox?

Sounds like data corruption

Just tested it on ours and it showed the bytes.  I am thinking that you have file corruption.  You can try force updating your firmware to the same version or pull the data off and format the unit.
