Title: Secure Lock Ware dose not work in Windows 7 64bit
Post by: stormy on August 25, 2009, 05:10:49 AM

hi, i m new here, i m facing some problems here and would like to get some help.

i'm using Buffalo MiniStation TurboUSB HD-PS160U2.

The SLW(secure lock ware) works in win7 32bit and will auto pop up to key in password.

i had install TurboUSB too, but i dont know does it work fine, i m getting 14MBps-16MBps transfer rate with AES 256, sounds NORMAL?

For win7 64bit SLW wont pop up and i tried to unlock device but no device found.

if i dont encrypt my drive, does TurboUSB works fine in 64bit?

Thank You.

David

1. Windows 7 is still not offically supported.

2. SLW and Turbo USB will only work in a 32bit enviroment, not 64bit.

Most computers nowadays seems to be 64bit . Just purchased one and my linkstation mini is accessable w/o a password . Use to have one but don't know what happened .
