Title: Problem access shared folders
Post by: cirex on August 24, 2009, 08:07:29 AM
When I try to connect to a shared folder I get a error message "the network name cannot be found".  The strange part is that when I am logged in via the web admin the ability to add or change any shared folders is disabled even though I am logged in as admin.  I am also able to see the contents of the info folder.  I have tried everything as far as even a firmware upgrade.  Any ideas on how to retrieve the files in the folders would be great.  Thanks.

Making sure you are mapping the drive properly from the Start button then in the search box for vista, or for the run box for xp.  and in that box //ip address of the device that you will get from the nas navigator program.
