Title: ministation lite wont run on windows vista

i bought a buffalo ministation lite last 8/20/2009 when i installed it, it states that the hardware was successfully installed and ready for use.but it ddnt auto run and no icon appeared on my computer either.

though the safely remove icon appeared on the task bar and on usb controllers, it appears as usb mass storage device.

 

need help please.is there a solution for this or should get it replaced from the shop where i bought it?

   Do you see a drive letter in My Computer? It should at least show up as another drive letter.
