Title: Pro Duo and Security login prompt
Post by: incaico on November 05, 2008, 11:59:35 AM

Whenever my PC booted up, it found my mapped shares from my Pro Duo.  Don't know what I may have done but now the it asks for the login and password that I use to login as an admin.  That means that everyone on the network needs to know the login and password which will open all shares!

Help me turn it off!!

If you're running a mix of restricted and unrestricted shares then try to disconnect all shares mapped to the computer, once this is done log off and then back into Windows. After this re-map any shares that have access restrictions on them first (It's very important that you do the restricted ones first since Windows can only pass 1 user name per network device) and then map the unrestricted shares, this should clear up the issue.
