Title: Problem with Webaccess !

Hello!

 

We have a LinkStation Pro Duo (LS-W1.0TGL/R1-US). It has been configured for webaccess.

At Buffalonas.com we enter the name created and then it prompts us to enter user name and password.

We use user name and password created when webaccess configured. It does not work. Then we try user name and password created under management tab, and again it does not work.

Can anyone help please?

   This sounds familiar.  You have to use the ID/PW that is set to log into your own computer, not the NAS's.

Thank you. It works. But why?

I could get into the LinkStation from my iPhone by using ID/PW of the computer. LinkStation is not connected to the computer but to the network.

Why computer ID/PW?
