Title: BT speed max at 2/kbs !!!
Post by: buckchucko on August 12, 2009, 08:17:26 PM

I finally got my Linkstation Bittorrent functioning. Using port 63555 and 9000 are both verified open. My WRT54G router is set up correctly and Qqs is even off.

Using uTorrent client and downloading the very same file, through the very same router from my PC, I get speeds of 49-60/kbs, which is about right for my location in China. I even tried setting up my Buffalo using the same port uTorrent uses with no improvement whatsoever. I since changed it back to port 63555.

The point is, this is certianly a huge difference between the two clients. Whats wrong with this Buffalo? Nevermind speeds here in China suck, this difference is just wrong!

What gives with this?

Hi buddy,

do not know if you are using a router? somebody says it will be helpful to open port from 6881 - 6999. as you have tested the same on pc, port opening could not help a bit?

 Cheers
