I just upgraded my LS-CH1.0 from FW 1.10 to 1.21. Upgrde went fine and everything looks normal. I went to my FTP folder to delete a file in my trashbox. I opened trashbox and my files is there, but it returns an error when I try to delete it. "Error:could not delete folder"

 

I've not had this trouble before. What gives?

   

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I cannot delete it through web access. I can delete it if I do it locally.

So why the difference?

   

That's odd you can locally and not through web access...Unless your local user does not have administrative rights...

Have you granted your web access user elevated rights higher than your local user, perhaps?

The buffalo device might change permissions for network recycle bin contents....although I'd have to defer to Buffalo and if/how that works exactly.

   I've made up several users so I can go about testing this NAS. In fact I was logged on to the Buffalo server using the same user I used when I set up my server with BuffaloNas. I also used another user that has read/write permission that I added to my NAS. Neither work. Only locally deleting works.
