Print Page - LinkStation HS-DHGL format issue!

Title: LinkStation HS-DHGL format issue!

I am trying to format my LS HS-DH500GL and it has been performing the task for 24hrs!

There was only 120gb on the drive in trash folders.

I am reluctant to stop it for fear of damaging the drive!

Any advice welcome.

The format should only take an hour or two. If the units within its warranty and the units data is backed up I would call our support line for a replacement.
