Title: TeraStation Pro can be accessed but can't be seen in network map
Post by: hoaian on August 04, 2009, 03:19:57 AM

Hi,

We are using TeraStation Pro in our office as backup for 6 computers (all with Vista Ultimate). Memeo Autobackup is used as backup software.

After one year working without problem, suddenly the followings happened

- On a computer A: TeraStation can't be seen in the network map

- Computer A can see other computers, it can access TeraStation and it's files and folders through NAS Navigator

- Other computers can see A and the TeraStation

- The Memeo Aubobackup of Computer A can't find the path to TeraStation.

I just came up with a temporary solution: 1) on Computer A: map a network drive to TeraStation (this works only when using TeraStation's IP-Address, not when using it's name) 2) set this network drive as backup destination in Memeo Autobackup.

I will very much appreciate your prompt support.

Best,

Try disconnecting from the shares and remap them.  Are you able to?  If not what is the error message?
