Title: Any way to empty trashbox from a removed folder?
Post by: laxiepoo on July 21, 2009, 04:13:23 PM

I was cleaning up my Terastation HS-DHTGL/R5 1.10 and I removed a Shared folder prior to emptying the trashbox. After it was done, the Shared folder wasn't listed, but the disk space stayed the same as before I removed the folder.

Any ideas?

Create a new shared folder with the same name (case sensitive) as the one you just removed. Then access via Start, Run, \\ip_addr_of_nas, and see if you can view anything in the share.  If so, delete it.

If that doesn't work, the only solution is to pull the data off the other shares and format the raid array. The 1.10 firmware is pretty old, I'd recommend you update it after backing up the data.
