Title: Syncronise with desktop machine
Post by: BenElliott on July 21, 2009, 09:44:37 AM

Hello,

I'm new to Buffalo NAS devices. I have some files on my LinkStation LS-W1 0TGL/R1-V3 but I need to make sure thatall the files on the LinkStation are the same as onmy main desktopcomputer running WinXP sp3

Does anyone have an idea about the best way to do this?

Thanks,

Ben

you can use the memeo auto backup software to specify what files or folders you want backed up from a client OS. The memeo key is only good for one PC though.

Thanks for the reminder about Memeo. It came with the linkstation. However, although the setup disk says that it is installed I cannot find where it is or how to use it.

I have not been asked to enter my serial number anywhere yet. :smileymad:
