Title: SSID basic questions
Post by: rsrikant on April 01, 2019, 02:39:46 AM
I am planning to set up 2 SSID on my buffalo Access point Wifi
SSID1 - 5 GHz
SSID2 - 5 GHz

Both SSID will be 5 GHz
The question is can both the SSID be in the same VLAN say VLAN 10
Or it should be in different VLAN for each SSID ?

Perhaps you can create a virtual interface for your 5 GHz?  Then it will be a different name but still be on the same frequency.  That function is available on a WZR-600DHP

Yes as said above creating a virtual interface will be the most accurate solution to do so..All the best mybkexperience (https://www.mybkexperience.xyz/)
