My unit: 4tb Linkstaiton (ls-q4.0tl/r5)

I can access my Linkstation from within my network (home) Via Buffalonas.com but not from outside my network. Since I can access it from home I was thinking my router is blocking outside access. I use a Mac Airport. Any idea's?

From outside my network when I go to buffalonas.com and put in my units name it says "cannot find server" so it does not even get to the username and pass prompt.

I facing the same problem. I can access within my network, but not remote access.

I have disable UPnP in my LS.

i port forward my linksys router and using canyouseeme.org.

It show's this

"Error: I could not see your service on 203.118.53.146 on port (9000)

Reason: Connection timed out"

Is there anyway for me to solve this problem?

Double check your port forwarding setup on your router. If the connection times out that usually means that the router instruction to transfer the requests to the local IP of the NAS is incorrectly input. Usually for any port forwarding instructions I recommend this site.

i tried the method you mention.

I still having the same error msg.
