Title: TeraStation Pro - ip reset by itself and GUI in japanese
Post by: cesmikolaj on December 31, 2018, 12:30:28 PM
I have a TeraStation Pro that all of a sudden the IP changed to 192.168.11.150.  From my research this seems to be the default IP address. The hostname changed as well. Seems like something happened that forced it to perform factory reset.

When accessing the WebGui on the new IP address the entire interface shows up in Japanese. Doing research there is a few steps to change it back to English. However I cannot navigate any menu options. Each time I select an option it takes me back to the login screen. The previous login still works even in Japanese.

Anyone experience this? Help?

Try reinstalling the firmware (debug mode might be needed to "not check version"), won't do anything about the Japanese but might allow you to select options to set it back to the preferred language
