Title: Load base software on Terastation
Post by: sparticus1701 on December 27, 2018, 11:53:57 AM
I have a TeraStation TS-XE8.0TL/R5.  A drive died in this, and the base software was lost.  I want to put new drives in it, but I need to know how to load the base software to get it running again.  How do I do that?

I put together some resources to describe how to do this, another poster was able to get a TS-XEL up and running with them:

He was also working off a post about TFTP recovery for this device:

That should also work using files extracted using:

I used the Reddit page and it worked.  Thank you so much for your time.
