Title: LS-CH1.0TL Unusual Disk Activity
Post by: s7uar7 on July 10, 2009, 07:21:06 PM
I upgraded the firmware on my LS-CH1.0TL yesterday from 1.01 to 1.07, and since then there is a period of heavy disk activity for about 5 minutes every hour.  Everything is disabled with the exception of Media Server, which is set to 'Enabled' and 'Remain'.  It's only me that has access to this drive and it definitely didn't do this with 1.01.  Any ideas what could be causing it?

Was there a specific reason for the update (any issues)?

If you have the Media Server set to automatically update (this is probably the issue), set it to Manual update!

Have you tried Initializing the unit (Web interface> Maintenance> Initialization> Restore to Defaults)?

You should also try to Force Update FW, if you do this you will want to Init it using steps above after updating!
