Title: Raid 5 array won't build to full size of disks
Post by: totoholic on July 10, 2009, 03:50:17 PM

I just recently upgraded the 250GB drives to 1TB drives in my TeraStation Pro II rackmount.  I had to use the TFTP restore option to put the firmware back on the TS.  After it was finished, booting went fine and it showed all for drives as 930GB or so.  That is what they should be.  Yet, when I build the Array as RAID 5 with all 4 drives, the array ends up being 768GB's instead of 3.5TB or whatever it should add up to.  Can anyone help with this?

God Bless.
