hello, what is the maximum size of HD the LS220DE can read?  documention says 4TB, but that might be old?

you can confirm the box can support 2x 8TB =16TB?  cuz the manual states 2x  4TB

The manual reflects what has been tested in our QA lab. If Davo sez it works, I'd trust him.

thank you very much for the info.  also.  how to get the box to recognize NTFS partition?  When I insert a drive formatted NTFS it will not recognize it for JBOD and I can only reformat it as XFS inside the box.

It will not recognize an NTFS partition. When the setup is done it will format whatever drive is inserted. This device installs its own OS on the drive and then boots from the drive(s) in the unit.

thank you interesting because the documents say it can support NTFS partitions in JBOD mode.  I couldnt get it to do it.  Oh well, I bought 2 8tb drives and will set it up as a 16TB server.
