Title: Terastation TS-WXL (2 drive) Max drive size?
Post by: bab5871 on October 29, 2018, 12:08:02 PM
I was using the Terastation TS-WXL with 2x 1TB drives in a raid 1 for a long time. Needed some extra space and successfully upgraded them to 2TB drives. Needing more space the question becomes... what is the max drive size the TS-WXL can handle? I can't find a concrete number anywhere either official or word of mouth.

2 * 8TB should work fine although it's not officially supported by Buffalo.

There's also a 16TiB filesystem limit that applies to XFS on 32-bit systems, admittedly this is more of an issue for 4-bay systems.
