Title: HELP: Sporatic connection to shares on TeraStation 1200D
Post by: hrmorales on October 01, 2018, 03:40:47 PM
Hi,

I purchased a 1200D NAS and setup several shares in a small home office.  I have encountered an issue though that very often I lose my shares or copies to the drive fail due to loss of connectivity.  When this happens, I can no longer access the management webpage either.  It's on a static IP address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hector

A bad ethernet cable? (Just off the top of my head.)

Is there something specific you do to correct it? Are you able to ping the device when this happens? What is the status of all LEDs on the device when this happens?

No it fixed itself within seconds. I'll check the Ethernet cable. Thx.
