Title: Why only one NIC on terstation II iSCSI? Where's the Terastation III iSCSI?
Post by: devnull1369 on July 02, 2009, 02:39:59 PM

So that pretty much sums up my questions.  It seems pointless to have iSCSI with only one NIC.  I know you can't eliminate all sinlge points of failures but an extra NIC seems like a small design change to allow for an immensely important part of redundancy.

Any comments from Buffalo?  When are we going to see the Terastation III (which has dual NICs) in a iSCSI form so I can be comfortable buying it?

I'm not sure at the moment, but I'll check with our corporate office.

I've just heard from corporate that we're working on a TS III iSCSI unit, but we have no timetable as of yet.
