Title: True JBOD RAID Configuration (2 diferent sized physical disks, 1 Logical Disk)
Post by: JonnyQuest on July 28, 2018, 10:50:25 AM
I have the Linkstation 421e and recently moved my 2 4TB disks (RAID0) from it to a new faster NAS.  I had two drives that I wanted to install in the now empty Linkstation.  One 3 TB drive and One 2 TB.  Seeing that the sell sheet showed JBOD was supported I thought a RAID could be built in JBOD mode and then have one Logical Disk of 5 TB.  But it seems this is not the case, therefore I am requesting a true JBOD RAID configuration.

JBOD by definition means there is no RAID.
