Title: Windows 10 unable to browse shares
Post by: tjrtech on July 10, 2018, 08:35:36 PM
I was having an issue with a LS210D546. I could use the NAS Navigator to setup the device, but could not browse the shares. I solved this by going into NAS Navigator2 > right click the device > Browse> Login with your admin password > Advanced Settings > SMB and edit. Enable the SMB 2 protocol as it is not on by default. Restart your workstation.
After it comes back up, attempt to browse the device. It should prompt you for a user/password. If you did not setup one for yourself, use the admin. I do recommend you setup an account for yourself under the hdusers group. Only use the Admin account for administration of the device.
