Title: LS441D Won't start, Power LED blinks
Post by: fsdaf on June 20, 2018, 12:36:28 PM
One day the LS did not show up on Nav, restarted PC and router.
Tried to restart the LS(Pushing the power buttom) but it did not recognize it. So I pulled the power cord.
When I started it again it just start to blink the power LED, It's been blinking for almost 5 days.
All the HDD-led are green and it was in RAID5. And it does not show up in NAV nor can I ping it (the router does not see it either)
I have backup on some data but not all. I will not die if I loose it, but it will save me a bit of time if I can restore the RAID5.

Thanks.

Pull drive 1, reboot and see if you can access the data or gui, if not then put in drive 1, remove disk2, etc

Removing one of the disks should allow access.

Every pulled disk will be marked as bad from mdadm
removing 2 drives will delete the raid5

Not if it's not getting to the stage where the OS isn't loading.

Who said anything about pulling 2 drives?
