Title: Terastation 3400D Saving Configuration File
Post by: tetradelta on June 20, 2018, 11:36:31 AM
Hello,

I've been exploring options to save the .nas_configuration file to a different location than a USB. I noticed Buffalo makes a tool called NS-SHFT, but this appears not to work as I get the "Could not find target NAS" error even though the Navigator tool can find it without issue.

The other option I explored, is using acp_commander. I noticed there is a -save switch to "save configuration". Has anybody had success using this command? It doesn't seem to put the config file anywhere even though I get no errors returned.

Thanks!

There is an option under the management tab of the admin page to do this.

Correct, but I have several NAS devices out in the field where I'd like to be able to script something and not have to login to every single NAS and save a config file manually.
I'm also looking to be able to save it to a different location than a USB drive.
