Title: MiniStation DataVault Problems (did a search and still didnt fix my problems)
Post by: yakabod on June 30, 2009, 09:34:35 PM

Before I created this thread, I did a search on my problem.  A lot of similar threads but none with the right solution.  I've tried connecting both the AUX power cord and the usb cord and still nothing.  Tried checking if there was other disks showing up in "diskmgmt.msc" but nothing.  Tried Removing usb cable and switching to other usb hub.  There were times when it says it activated and ready to use but few seconds later it would give me a malfunction error on my taskbar.

What am I doing wrong?  Some computers it works and some dont.  I have many files that I placed in this harddrive and need to access these files asap!

Thanks,

Dante

Have you tried the USB Ports on the front as well as the back?
